Poppe Family Maternity Session

My beautiful coworker Katie and her family came out to Old Town Alexandria last week for their maternity session. It was an early morning, but SO worth it to have the streets to ourselves and some really nice light! Baby boy is due to arrive next month and I’m glad I could capture these before he makes his appearance.

Ellis did an AMAZING job throughout the whole session! She called me “ni-ni” and she kept giving me the sign language for “more” to see more photos on the back of my camera. Sooo cute!

I love the glowy light around Ellis’ dress in these shots. This private little alley was such a fun place to shoot!

If you did a photoshoot in Old Town and didn’t use the Prince St. cobblestones, did you really shoot in Old Town? 😉

For our last few shots we headed to the Carlyle House, which just so happened to coordinate perfectly with the baby boy color scheme!
